Syracuse, New York — The forward position of Syracuse looks completely different from a year ago, and it may be the most important position on the court this season.

The plan lost the fan favorite Marek Dolezaj to graduate and pursue a professional basketball contract. After a poor performance in the NCAA tournament, Alan Griffin left the program after a season to pursue his dream of playing in the NBA. Quincy Guerrier, Woody Newton and Robert Braswell entered the transfer portal and played for different schools.
