Pennsylvania State University faces crowds in Michigan

State University-There are still a few months away from the 2022 NFL Draft, but the end of the college football season is getting closer and closer. This means that the draft map will begin to take shape as players announce in advance, others choose to return to school and other decisions.

This means that the NFL draft analysts who have been busy developing the big board and position rankings in the past few weeks and months have begun to refine their roster, thanks to the live movies and results. Pennsylvania State University once again occupies a prominent position.

ESPN NFL draft analyst Todd McShay (Todd McShay) announced his latest top 32 list and position ranking on Tuesday, including many Nittany Lions. One Penn State player entered the top 32, while the other six players entered the top 10 in their respective positions.

Penn State wide receiver Jahan Dotson can be said to be the top player of the Nittany Lions this season. He has received 80 times for 993 yards and 9 touchdowns. He has a variety of exciting games every week. McShay ranks Dotson as his 10th overall prospect and 3rd wide receiver in the 2022 NFL Draft.

"Dotson is a bit small, but his suddenness, speed, and route tricks make him a dangerous offensive weapon," McShane wrote. "His rest time is very fast, but he always seems to be in control. His tape is very smooth and his route is sharp. Although the receiving radius is small, his skills are very good and he will be running. Receive the ball and/or adjust the pitch with excellent physical control. Dotson can also challenge vertically, but he does not have the size to win 50-50 balls. If he does win, he has vision and wheels to produce after receiving the ball. "

Considering the performance of the 5-foot-11 and 184-pound player this season, it is not surprising to see Dotson so tall.

Smith has all the physical conditions of the next-level top linebacker. He has performed relatively well this season, with 8.5 steals, 2 sacks, 5 pass errors, 3 quarterback hits and a forced turnover. The former five-star recruit is a junior, so he can choose to return.

Luketa accepted the invitation to the Senior Bowl on Monday, which is an interesting case as a career prospect. Before turning to the defensive end this season, he spent his first three seasons as a linebacker at Penn State (although he sometimes returns to a linebacker). His fit in the NFL is curious. This season he has 47 steals, 6 steals, 0.5 sacks, 1 interception and 5 quarterback hits.

After battling injuries for most of the 2020 season, Castro Fields ushered in his fifth season, thanks to the NCAA's qualification for an extra year due to the coronavirus pandemic. He has a consistent performance in six pass turnovers and is 6 feet 194 pounds tall. His size allows him to attract NFL teams.

Brisker also stayed at Pennsylvania State University for another year, and he thrived on the defensive end of Pennsylvania State University. He has significantly increased his inventory with 48 steals, 5.5 steals, 2 interceptions, 4 pass breakthroughs, 1 quarterback hit and 1 turnover recovery. He shouldn't wait too long to hear his name next spring.

Pennsylvania State University will host Rutgers University on Saturday. The game will start at noon and will be televised on the top ten networks.
