GREENVILLE, S.C. – Dodge Industrial, Inc. – an RBC Bearings company and manufacturer of bearings, gearing, and power transmission components – announced that it has named David Gilbert as its new president effective immediately. Gilbert joined Dodge nearly 20 years ago and is an experienced manufacturing and operations management leader with proven knowledge and demonstrated results in the industrial automation industry.

Gilbert joined Dodge in 1998 as an engineering supervisor and has held numerous leadership positions, most recently serving as vice president of operations and manufacturing. In this role for five years, he was responsible for initiatives to drive continuous improvement and greater efficiency in safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and cost control across all Dodge locations. 

Gilbert earned his Bachelor of Science degree in industrial engineering from North Carolina State University. He will lead the company from its corporate headquarters in Greenville.
